Analyzing assessment instruments in Pancasila and citizenship education subjects at Banjarmasin state junior high schools

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the quality of the questions in the Pancasila Education subject from the aspects of question differentiation, level of difficulty and effectiveness of distractors. This research is quantitative descriptive. Data was obtained using interview and documentation techniques. The population of this study were students at SMP Negeri 7 Banjarmasin, and the sample was taken as many as 200 people. The object of this research is all the End of Semester Assessment questions for class VII Pancasila education subjects, totaling 50 questions. The data obtained was then analyzed using the AnBuso program version 8.0. From the results of the analysis, it is known that for the different power questions; 21 items (42%) were good, 11 items (22%) were quite good, and 18 items (36%) were not good. Difficulty level of questions; 14 items (28%) are easy, 26 items (52%) are moderate, and 10 items (20%) are difficult. Distractor Effectiveness; 18 items (36%) are very good, 12 items (24%) are good, 18 items (36%) are bad, and 2 items (4%) are very bad. It can be concluded that of the 50 questions on the Pancasila Education subject in the Odd Semester Final Assessment for the 2023/2024 academic year, 18 questions are of good quality (36%), 12 questions (24%) are quite good, 18 questions (36%) are good quality not good, and 2 questions (4%) revised.
